(1) This order may be cited as the Trade Descriptions (Place of Origin) (Watches) Order. (9 of 2005 s. 4) (2) (Omitted as spent)

Section: 2 Specification of place of origin of watches L.N. 112 of 2010 01/01/2011
(1) For the purposes of the Ordinance, the place in which the movement of a watch was manufactured or produced is to be regarded as the place in which the watch has been manufactured or produced. (L.N. 233 of 2003; 9 of 2005 s. 5)
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to any watch— (a) that has been exported, or is intended to be exported, from Hong Kong to the Mainland under the Mainland
and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement and that is qualified for a zero tariff under the Arrangement; or
(b) that has been exported, or is intended to be exported, from Hong Kong to New Zealand under the Hong Kong, China—New Zealand Closer Economic Partnership Agreement and that is qualified for preferential tariff treatment under the Agreement. (L.N. 112 of 2010)
(3) In this section— Hong Kong, China—New Zealand Closer Economic Partnership Agreement (《中國香港與新西蘭緊密經貿合
作協定》) means the Hong Kong, China—New Zealand Closer Economic Partnership Agreement entered into between the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Government of New Zealand and signed on 29 March 2010, as amended from time to time; (L.N. 112 of 2010)
"the Mainland" (內地) means any part of China other than Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan; "Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement" (《內地與香港關於建立更緊密經貿關
係的安排》) means the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement entered into between the Central People's Government and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and signed on 29 June 2003 (including the annexes signed on 29 September 2003), as amended from time to time. (1) 就本條例而言，任何地方，如在其內製造或生產手錶機芯，則該地方須視為在其內製造或生產

(3) 在本條中—
“內地”(the Mainland) 指中國的任何部分，但不包括香港、澳門及台灣；
