TRADE MARKS ORDINANCE (AlVlENDMENT OF
SCHEDULE 1) REGULATION 2005

(Made by the Chief Executive in Council under section 92 of .

the Trade Marks Ordinance (Cap. 559))

1. Commencement

This Regulation shall come into operation on 17 February 2006.

2. Paris Convention Countries and WTOMembers

(1)

Schedule 1 to the Trade Marks Ordinance (Cap. 559) is amended in the list under the heading "Countries which have acceded to th Paris Convention"

(a) by repealing "The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia"; . (b) by adding "Serbia and Montenegro".

(2)

Schedule 1 is amended in the list uner the heading "Countries which have acceded to the Paris Convention" by repealing ":$m pg 5E::tt-5fQ 11" and substituting ":$mjt!7g 5E::tt-5fQ 1iI".

(3) Schedule 1 is amended in the list under the heading "Countries which have acceded to the Paris Convention"

(a)

by repealing "!7g5E:t:tt-5fQ";

(b)

by adding "jt!7g2t:tt-5fQ".

Schedule 1 is amended in the list under the heading "Countries which have acceded to the Paris Convention"

(a) by repealing "!7g5E::tt-5fQIiI";

(b)

by adding "pg2:tt-5fQ".

(5) Schedule 1 is amended in the list under the heading "Countries which have acceded to the Paris Convention" by adding

(a)

"The Principality of Andorra";

(b)

"Union of the Comoros";

(c)

"The Republic of Namibia";

(d)

"The Islamic Republic of Pakistan";

This Regulation updates the lists of countries. which have acceded to the Paris Convention and countries, territories and areas which have acceded to the World Trade· Organization Agreement.
