The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him that he was informed, by the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, by a notification dated August 9, 1977, referring to Article 24(1) of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, as revised at Stockholm on July 14, 1967, that the said Convention shall apply to the territory of Hong Kong.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 24(3)(a) of the said Convention, the notification referred to above shall take effect three months after the date of this notification, that is, on November 16, 1977.
