Why You Should Get Involved?
The event offers an enabling space for interaction between youth and high-level policy and decision makers, primarily Youth Ministers, with the aim of breaking traditional barriers to dialogue and collaboration.
By providing youth with direct access to policymakers and leaders from WIPO and ITC in the fields of intellectual property (IP) and trade, it endeavors to give them a "seat at the table", amplifying their voices, ensuring their ideas and insights are heard, considered, and factored in decision making.
This session intends to challenge young participants to think critically about how skills in IP and trade can be leveraged as instruments for positive change, fostering meaningful youth engagement and bridging the gap with decision makers in support of intergenerational equity.
By empowering youth to take active roles in driving the agenda for sustainable development and providing them with direct access to policymakers, we not only ensure present prosperity but also cultivate a future where opportunities for leadership in the innovation ecosystem extend across generations.
Here's what you can expect…
- Meaningful conversations on how youth can drive positive change through innovation and leadership.
- Showcases of youth-led ventures making an impact in communities globally.
- Opportunities to exchange ideas, strategies, and best practices with peers and leaders in various fields.
