The WIPO Global TISC Conference, to be held online from November 29 to December 1, 2021, in cooperation with the National Intellectual Property Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNIPA), will explore the role of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs) in facilitating technology transfer and contributing to technology-based solutions to social and economic issues faced by communities worldwide.
The WIPO Global TISC Conference is intended for TISC focal points, TISC managers, and TISC staff as well as professionals in associated fields such as patent search, patent analytics, IPR management, and technology transfer. The Conference will include presentations and discussions with leading experts and representatives from TISC networks from around the world to address the following questions:
- How can TISCs facilitate the transfer of technologies into local communities to create social and economic impact?
- How can TISCs facilitate the transfer of technologies to communities worldwide?
- How can resources and services provided by WIPO and national TISC networks facilitate the management of national TISC projects and promote further exchanges in experiences and best practice between TISC networks?
