Maurícia adere ao PCT

Em 15 de dezembro de 2022, o governo da Maurícia depositou seu instrumento de adesão ao Tratado de Cooperação em matéria de Patentes (PCT) com o diretor geral da OMPI.  O PCT entrará em vigor na Maurícia no dia 15 de março de 2023.

A adesão da Maurícia ao PCT fará dela o 157° membro da União do PCT.

A partir de 15 de março de 2023, requerentes e inventores na Maurícia poderão depositar pedidos de patentes segundo o PCT como um meio de buscar a proteção de uma patente nos Estados Contratantes do PCT.

Da mesma forma, a partir de 15 de março de 2023, empresas e inovadores estrangeiros poderão usar o Sistema do PCT para buscar a proteção de uma patente para suas invenções na Maurícia.
