Exchanging Value - Negotiating Technology Licensing Agreements: A Training Manual
This Manual is based on material used and tested in a series of workshops conducted jointly by WIPO and the International Trade Centre (ITC) where the importance of understanding the relevance of intellectual property in negotiating technology license agreements were discussed and mock negotiations were undertaken. The Manual explains the intellectual property issues that are relevant in technology licensing and provides practical tips in engaging in such negotiations.

Patent Landscape Report on E-Waste Recycling Technologies
The report covers in detail patent applications and granted patents within the space of e-waste processing, and the recycling and recovery of materials from consumer products at the end of their useful life. Additionally, the report uses reference information, such as news and other business data sources to extend the information into real-world applicability, and also to verify the interest and commercial activity of entities mentioned within the study.

Implications of the TRIPS Agreement on treaties administered by WIPO
This study examines each of the 73 articles of the TRIPS Agreement. Where an article has implications for a WIPO administered treaty, there is an in-depth examination of that article, pointing out possible changes in the obligations of a state. This study does not constitute an official interpretation of the WIPO administered treaties nor of the TRIPS Agreement.

Food Security and Intellectual Property - How the Private and the Public Sectors Use IP to Enhance Agricultural Productivity
A series of public events is planned with a view to demonstrate IP driven success stories of agricultural development with a particular focus on food security. A coordinated action is intended with selected partners from the plant related innovation industry, the public agricultural research sector, farmers associations of selected developing countries, relevant intergovernmental (FAO, UPOV), non governmental organizations and potential donors. A first Seminar was held on June 14, 2011, at the WIPO Headquarters in Geneva.

Genuine Goods (Manga)
This manga is the result of the Real Manga Competition held in Japan from August 3 to October 15, 2010. The competition was organized by the Japan Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), co-sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the Japan Patent Office, and supported by Kadokawa Group Publishing. The objective of the competition was to find a Japanese artist for the creation of a manga to increase awareness of the health and safety risks of counterfeit products.
