PATENTS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2003
IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 87 of the Patents Act 1983 [Act 291], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement
1. (1) These regulationsmay be cited as thePatents (Amendment) Regulations 2003. (2) These Regulations come into operation on 19 June 2003.
Amendment of regulation 27
2. The Patents Regulations 1986 [P.U. (A) 327/86], which in these Regulations are referred to as “the principal Regulations”, are amended in subregulation 27(6), by inserting after the words “the Patent Office of Japan,” the words “the Patent Office of The Republic of Korea,”. Amendment of regulation 27A
3. Subregulation 27A(5) of the principal Regulations is amended in the definition of “prescribed country”, by inserting after the words “Japan,” the words “The Republic of Korea,”.
