Pursuant to section 85(2)(b) of the Trade Marks Act 1953, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations
1 Title (1) These regulations are the Marks Amendment Regulations 2001.
(2) In these regulations, the Trade Marks Regulations 1954 are called “the principal regulations”.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 7 January 2002.
3 Classification according to Schedule 3 or 4
(1) Substituted word in the heading to r10 of principal regulations.
(2) Substituted r10(2) of principal regulations.
(3) Added r10(3) to principal regulations.
4 Conversion of specification
In r11(1) of principal regulations— (a) inserted words:
