Accession to the Paris Act (1971) included a notification in which the Government of the Independent State of Samoa declared that it availed itself of the faculty provided for in Article II of the said Appendix. The relevant declaration was effective from July 21, 2006, until October 10, 2014. (see Berne Notification No. 250)
