Excerpt from the Law to Reform Arbitration Proceedings (Arbitration Proceedings Reform Law)

of 22 December 1997

The Federal Parliament has passed the following Law:

Article 1 …

…Section 17
Amendment of the Law on Employee Inventions

Section 33 subsection 1 of the Law on Employee Inventions in the revised version published in the Federal Law Gazette, Part III, number 422-1, last amended by Article 56 of the Law of 5 October 1994 (Federal Law Gazette 1 page 2911), shall be amended as follows:

1. In the first sentence the words "Section 1032 subsection 1, sections 1035 and 1036" shall be replaced by the words "sections 41 to 48, 1042 subsection 1 and section 1050".

2. In the second the words "Section 1034 subsection 1" shall be replaced by the words "Section 1042 subsection 2".

Article 5 Entry into Force; Cessation of Force

(1) This Law shall enter into force, save for Article 1 number 1 and for Article 2 Sections 29 to 31, on the first day of the calendar month following is promulgation.

(2) Article 1 number 1 and Article 2 Sections 29 to 31 of this Law shall enter into force on 1 April 1998.

(3) Article 4 Section 2 of this Law shall enter into force on 1 April 1999.

The constitutional rights of the Federal Council have heeded.

The above Law is hereby executed and promulgated in the Federal Law Gazette.
