Details Details Year of Version 2014 Dates Signature: January 20, 2014 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Geographical Indications Notes Article 41 of Law on Geographical Indications provides that 'any provision of other laws in effect which are in contradiction to any provision of this law shall be considered as null and void only within the scope of the contradiction of this law from the date of promulgating this law.'
In this regard, note that this may impact the Prakas on the Procedures for the Registration and Protection of Marks of Goods which include a Geographical Indication.
