Details Details Year of Version 2018 Dates Amended up to: July 7, 2018 Promulgated: December 16, 2002 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Utility Models, Industrial Designs Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body, Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights) Notes This consolidated version of the "Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 160-Z of December 16, 2002, on Patents for Inventions, Utility Models and Industrial Designs" takes into account amendments up to Law No. 88-Z of December 18, 2017, on Amendments to Law on Patents for Inventions, Utility Models and Industrial Designs, which entered into force on January 7, 2018, after the day of its publication in the Official Gazette, and July 7, 2018, three months after the day of its publication. Article 1 of the said amending Law No. 88-Z of December 18, 2017 introduced amendments (entered into force on July 7, 2018) to the following provisions of this consolidated version: - Chapter 1, Articles 1, 2; - Chapter 2, Article 6; - Chapter 3, Articles 8 to 11; - Chapter 4, Articles 12 to 21, Articles 23 to 29, and Article 32; - Chapter 5, Articles 33 to 35; - Chapter 6, Article 36-1 to 39; - Chapter 7 (changes to its title), Articles 40 and 41.
