Details Details Year of Version 2023 Dates Entry into force: August 3, 2023 Published: August 3, 2023 Promulgated: August 2, 2023 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Industrial Designs Notes The Government of Brazil deposited its instrument of accession to the 1999 Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement (the 1999 Act) on February 13, 2023. Brazil is the 71st Contracting Party to the 1999 Act and the 79th member of the Hague Union. The 1999 Act entered into force in Brazil on August 1, 2023. Decree No. 11.627 of August 2, 2023 was issued by the President of Brazil to promulgate the 1999 Act in Brazil and this Decree entered into force on the date of its publication in the Official Diary of the Union (DOU) on August 3, 2023, in accordance with its Article 4.
