Copyright (Exception from Delivery of Books
to certain Libraries) Regulations, 1964

(No. 181, of July 20, 1964)

1. - These Regulations may be cited as the Copyright (Exception from Delivery of Books to Certain Libraries) Regulations, 1964.
2. - These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1964.
3. - There shall be excepted from the provisions of subsection (1) of section 56 of the Copyright Act, 1963 (No. 10 of 1963), in regard to:

(a) the trustees of the National Library of Ireland;

(b) the authority having control of the Library of Trinity College, Dublin, and

(c) the respective authorities having control of the three constituent Colleges of the National University of Ireland and St. Patrick's College, Maynooth,

publications of the following kinds, that is to say:
(i) trade advertisements,
(ii) trade cards,
(iii) trade catalogues,
(iv) trade circulars,
(v) trade coupons,
(vi) trade designs,
(vii) trade forms,
(viii) trade labels,
(ix) trade leaflets,
(x) trade plans,
(xi) trade posters,
(xii) trade price lists,
(xiii) trade prospectuses,
(xiv) trade show cards, and
(xv) trade wrappers.

These regulations specify publications exempted from the provisions of section 56 of the Copyright Act, 1963, which require publishers to deliver copies of books to certain libraries.

Règlement sur le droit d’auteur (Exceptions en matière de remise de livres à certaines bibliothèques), 1964

(Nο 181, du 20 juillet 1964)

1. — Le présent règlement peut être cité comme le règlement sur le droit d’auteur (exceptions en matière de remise de livres à certaines bibliothèques), 1964.

2. — Le présent règlement entrera en vigueur le 1er octobre 1964.

3. — Seront exemptés de l’application des dispositions du paragraphe (1) de l’article 56 de la loi de 1963 sur le droit d’auteur (nο 10 de 1963), en ce qui concerne la remise d’exemplaires :

a) aux administrateurs de la Bibliothèque nationale d’Irlande, b) à l’autorité de contrôle de la Bibliothèque du Collège de la Trinité, à Dublin, et c) aux autorités de contrôle des trois Collèges constituant l’Université nationale d’Irlande ou du

Collège Saint-Patrick, de Maynooth, les publications du type suivant :

(i) annonces commerciales, (ii) cartes commerciales,

(iii) catalogues commerciaux, (iv) circulaires commerciales, (v) coupons commerciaux,

(vi) emblèmes commerciaux, (vii) formulaires commerciaux,

(viii) étiquettes commerciales, (ix) dépliants commerciaux, (x) plans commerciaux,

(xi) affiches commerciales, (xii) tarifs commerciaux,

(xiii) prospectus commerciaux, (xiv) cartes de foires commerciales, et (xv) emballages commerciaux.
