The notification by Australia to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states: 'Amend the Copyright (International Protection) Regulations 1969 to update provisions which extend copyright protection in Australia to foreign works either to comply with a multilateral treaty or on the basis of reciprocity.'
