Details Details Year of Version 2001 Dates Entry into force: January 1, 2002 Adopted: November 26, 2001 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Plant Variety Protection Notes The notification by New Zealand to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This Order, which came into force on 1 January 2002, extends the fees for test trials conducted by the Plant Variety Rights Office to include all types of peas, the cereals triticale and ryecorn, and grass endophytes.'

Pursuant to section 38 of the Plant Variety Rights Act 1987, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

(1) This order is the Plant Variety Rights (Fees) Amendment Order 2001.

(2) In this order, the Plant Variety Rights (Fees) Order 1999 is called “the principal order”.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 1 January 2002.

3 New Schedule substituted Substituted the Schedule of principal order as set out in the Schedule of this order.
