Details Details Year of Version 2002 Dates Entry into force: January 1, 2002 Issued: December 20, 2001 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Patents (Inventions) Notes This Order, which applied from January 1, 2002, sets out the fee payable in euro upon filing of a request for a supplementary protection certificate at the Irish Patents Office. All payments, in respect of this fee, made before January 1, 2002, that are due before the end of 2001, will be the subject of the legislation in force at the time of payment. Fees notified before the end of 2001, but due in 2002, may be paid in advance at the rate payable in 2002. All payments made on or after January 1, 2002, will be at the rates payable in 2002.

European Communities (Supplementary Protection Certificate) (Amendment) Regulations, 2001

I, Mary Harney T.D., Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 ( No. 27 of 1972 ), and for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Regulation (EEC) No. 1768/92 of 18 June 1992(1) , hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Supplementary Protection Certificate) (Amendment) Regulations, 2001.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 January 2002.

3. The Second Schedule of the European Communities (Supplementary Protection Certificate) Regulations, 1993 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1993 ), is amended by substituting “€95” for “£75.”
