MINISTERIO DE INDUSTRIA, ENERGIA Y MINERIA

Montevideo, 19 de enero de 2005

VISTO: la presente gestión promovida por la Dirección Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial;

RESULTANDO: I) que por la misma solícita prorrogar el plazo perentorio e improrrogable que el art. 12 del Decreto 146/001 de 3 de mayo de 2001 otorga a los titulares de registros de marcas sonoras en trámite, para su adecuación; II) que ello responde a que el plazo de sesenta días establecido por la norma ha sido de imposible cumplimiento por causas no imputables a los administrados;

CONSIDERANDO: que nada impide desde el punto de vista jurídico proceder en la forma sugerida, en función de lo señalado;

ATENTO: a lo expuesto, y lo previsto por la ley 17.011 de 25 de setiembre de 1998 y Decreto 34/99 de 3 de febrero de 1999,

EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPUBLICA DECRETA:

ART. 1º.- Concédese a los titulares de solicitudes de registro de marcas sonoras en trámite un nuevo plazo perentorio e improrrogable de sesenta días a partir de la vigencia de este decreto para adecuarlas al Decreto 146/001 de 3 de mayo de 2001, bajo apercibimiento de tenerlos por desistidos.

ART. 2º.-Comuniquese, etc.
