The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on June 10, 1992, of a written communication, dated May 28, 1992, from the Government of the Russian Federation informing the Director General of WIPO that the following institutes, which have the status of international depositary authorities under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977 (see Budapest Notification No. 63 of July 28, 1987), have been renamed, as follows:
- the Institute of Microorganism Biochemistry and Physiology of the USSR Academy of Science (IBFM), as the "Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBFM-VKM)";
- the USSR Research Institute for Genetics and Industrial Microorganism Breeding of the USSR Ministry of the Medical and Microbiological Industry (VNII Genetika), as the "All-Union Institute of Genetics and Industrial Cultivation of Microorganisms of the Corporation Pharmindustry (VKPM)";
- the USSR Research Institute for Antibiotics of the USSR Ministry of the Medical and Microbiological Industry (VNIIA), as the "All-Union Scientific Centre of Antibiotics (VNIIA)."
The list of the kinds of microorganisms and the addresses of the above-mentioned international depositary authorities remain unchanged.
