The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on August 14, 1998, of a written communication, dated August 11, 1998, from the Government of the Republic of Korea informing him of the change of name of the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, and amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notifications No. 140 of August 29, 1995, and No. 89 of May 21, 1990).
The new name of the said international depositary authority is: Korean Collection for Type Cultures (KCTC).
This notification will be published in the September 1998 issue of the relevant WIPO periodical.
