The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein, on August 11, 2003, of its instrument of accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, adopted at Geneva on July 2, 1999 (the "Geneva Act").
The said instrument was accompanied by the declaration, in accordance with Article 30(1) of the Geneva Act, that, under Article 17(3)(c) of the said Act, the maximum duration of protection provided for by the law of the Principality of Liechtenstein is 25 years.
The date of entry into force of the Geneva Act will be notified when the required number of ratifications or accessions is reached in accordance with Article 28(1) and (2) of the said Act.
