Nairobi Treaty on the Protection of the Olympic Symbol

Signature by the Republic of Tunisia

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him that, according to the information received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Tunisia signed, on December 29, 1981, at Nairobi, the Nairobi Treaty on the Protection of the Olympic Symbol, adopted at Nairobi on September 26, 1981.

The said signature by the Republic of Tunisia brings to a total of 22 the number of States which have so far signed the said Nairobi Treaty (see also Nairobi Notification No. 1).
