The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16(5) of the Strasbourg Agreement Concerning the International Patent Classification of March 24, 1971, has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of the Italian Republic, on March 28, 1979, of its instrument of ratification to the said Agreement.
The said instrument of ratification was accompanied by the declaration that the Government of the Italian Republic intends to avail itself of the reservation provided for in Article 4(4)(ii) of the Agreement.
The said Agreement will enter into force, with respect to the Italian Republic, one year after the date of this notification, that is, on March 30, 1980.
