The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on February 29, 2000, of a written communication, dated December 12, 1999, from the Russian Agency for Patents and Trademarks (ROSPATENT), informing him of the new schedule of fees and change of name of the All-Russian Scientific Center of Antibiotics (VNIIA), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, and amended on September 26, 1980.
The new name of the said international depositary authority is "NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTER OF ANTIBIOTICS." The text of that communication is attached.
The fees set forth in the said communication will apply as from the thirtieth day following the date (March 31, 2000) of the publication of the said fees in the March 2000 issue of the WIPO periodical Intellectual Property Laws and Treaties, that is, as from April 30, 2000 (see Rule 12.2(c) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty).

Referring to Article 7 of the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, Rule 3.3. of the Regulation under the Budapest Treaty and the communication dated November 11, 1999, from the Russian Depositary Authority formerly known as the All-Russian Scientific Center of Antibiotics (VNIIA), Nagatinskaya St. 3a, Moscow, 113105, RU, I inform you about changes of the name and schedule of fees charged by this Authority and also about telephone/fax contact number.
