The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify the receipt on January 10, 2013, of a communication of the Government of Japan, dated January 8, 2013, regarding changes in the address, the telephone and facsimile numbers and the schedule of fees of the International Patent Organism Depository (IPOD), National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, and amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notification No. 15 of March 31, 1981).
According to Article 7.1(b) of the Budapest Treaty, the changes in the address and the telephone and facsimile numbers shall take effect on April 1, 2013. According to Rule 12.2(a) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty, the changes in the schedule of fees shall also take effect on April 1, 2013.

The Government of Japan considers that this communication will be disclosed to all Contracting States and the Intergovernmental Industrial Property Offices.
