The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to refer to the deposit by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on December 28, 1973, of its instrument of denunciation, for the Kingdom in Europe, of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs of November 6, 1925, as revised at London on June 2, 1934 (the "London Act"), and of the Additional Act of Monaco of November 18, 1961, to the said Agreement (Additional Act of Monaco), respectively.
The Director General of WIPO has the honor to notify that the Kingdom of the Netherlands deposited, on December 13, 2010, instruments of denunciation and of acceptance of the termination of the London Act and of the Additional Act of Monaco, with regard to Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the Caribbean part of the Netherlands, that is, the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
The said denunciation shall take effect, in respect of the above-mentioned territories, on December 13, 2011, unless all the required instruments of acceptance of termination of the London Act have been deposited before that date.
A separate notification will be made on the coming into effect of the termination, when all the required instruments of acceptance have been deposited.
