Declaration (July 22, 2021): "- Any case sub-judice in the Courts of Seychelles should not be affected by Seychelles’ accession to the Convention; and - The Convention will apply in respect of cases after Seychelles acceded to the Convention, and not before." The declarations made by Seychelles were accepted in deposit on 22 July 2021 in the absence of any objection on the part of one of the Contracting Parties, either to the deposit itself or to the procedure envisaged, within the one-year period from the date of the notification circulating the declarations.
Declaration made upon accession:
"- the Republic of Seychelles will apply the Convention to the recognition and enforcement of awards made only in the territory of another Contracting State; and
- [the Republic of Seychelles] will apply the Convention only to differences arising out of legal relationships whether contractual or not, which are considered as commercial under Seychelles national law."
