Decree of the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Handicraft (of September 25, 1972)
- Applications for patents for industrial inventions, utility models, industrial designs and trademarks as well as applications for the transcription of instruments concerning patent applications or patents, representations and documents relating to priorities, and appeals, must be filed with the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture of the capital towns of the Provinces until December 31, 1972.
- Until the same date, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture of Rome is empowered to receive also applications and documents referred to in the foregoing subsection which under Section 1 of Presidential Decree No. 540 of June 30, 1972, may be filed with the Central Patent Office.
- As from January 1, 1973, patent applications and the instruments referred to in the first subsection of the foregoing section must be filed with the Provincial Offices of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft of the capital towns of the Provinces.
As from the same date, the Provincial Office of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft of Rome is empowered to receive also applications and documents referred to in the second subsection of the foregoing Section.
The Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture shall take steps to transfer in good time the necessary staff and equipment to the Provincial Offices of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft.
