The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the Republic of Chile deposited, on March 25, 1975, its instrument of accession to the said Convention.
The Republic of Chile has fulfilled the condition set forth in Article 14(2) of the Convention by concurrently acceding to the Paris Act (1971) of the Berne Convention as provided for in Article 29bis of that Act.
Pursuant to Article 15(2), the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization will enter into force, with respect to the Republic of Chile, three months after the date of deposit of the instrument of accession, that is, on June 25, 1975.
