The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of the Gabonese Republic, on July 18, 2003, of its instrument of accession to the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs of November 6, 1925, as revised at The Hague on November 28, 1960 ("the Hague Act (1960)"), and supplemented at Stockholm on July 14, 1967 ("Stockholm (Complementary) Act (1967)"), and as amended on September 28, 1979.
The Hague Act (1960) will enter into force, in respect of the Gabonese Republic, on August 18, 2003. On that same date, the Gabonese Republic will become bound by Articles 1 to 7 of the Stockholm (Complementary) Act (1967) and will become a member of the Hague Union.
