The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, on April 26, 1993, of its instrument of accession to the London Act of June 2, 1934, of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs of November 6, 1925, and to the Hague Act of November 28, 1960, of the said Agreement, supplemented by the Stockholm (Complementary) Act of July 14, 1967, as amended on September 28, 1979.
The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire has not heretofore been a member of the Union for the International Deposit of Industrial Designs ("Hague Union"), founded by the Hague Agreement.
The London Act (1934) and the Hague Act (1960) will enter into force, in respect of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, on May 30, 1993. On that same date, the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire will become bound by Articles 1 to 7 of the Stockholm (Complementary) Act (1967) and will become a member of the Hague Union.
