An Act to amend the Patents and Companies Registration Agency Act.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia.
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (Amendment)Act, 2013, and shall be read as one with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency Act, 2010, in this Act referred to as the principal Act.
(2) This Act shall come into operation on 1st January, 2014.
2. Section sixteen of the principal Act is amended by the- (a) deletion in paragraph (b) of subsection (I) of the word
"fees"; (b) insertion, immediately after subsection (2), ofthe following
new subsection: (3) Fees charged and collected for services
provided by the Agency shall form part ofthe general revenues of the Republic.; and
(c) re-numbering of subsections (3) and (4) as subsections (4) and (5), respectively.
