We, Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar Having perused the Constitution The accession instrument issued on the twenty-sixth of Rabi 1432 AH, corresponding to the thirty-first of March 2011 AD The proposal of the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, The draft decree presented by the Council of Ministers , Hereby decree as follows:
Articles
Article 1
The accession of Qatar to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), annexed herewith is hereby ratified. Subject to the following reservation, theTreaty shall have the force of law, in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution:
"The State of Qatar does not consider itself bound by the provisions of Article 59 of this Treaty,which deals with the issue of settlement of disputes "
Article 2
The accession of Qatar to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), annexed herewith is hereby ratified. Subject to the following reservation, theTreaty shall have the force of law, in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution:
