The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of Iceland, on September 28, 1984, of its instrument of ratification of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883, as revised at Stockholm on July 14, 1967, with a declaration to the effect that its ratification shall not apply to Articles 1 to 12.
Iceland will belong to Class VII for the purpose of establishing its contribution towards the budget of the Paris Union.
The Stockholm Act (1967) of the said Convention, with the exception of Articles 1 to 12, will enter into force, with respect to Iceland, three months after the date of this notification, that is, on December 28, 1984.
