Details Details Year of Version 2011 Dates Adopted: August 26, 2011 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), IP Regulatory Body Notes This Order, issued by the Ministry of Culture and Communication pursuant to Articles L. 122-10 to L.122-12, R.322-1 to R.322-2 of the Intellectual Property Code, renews the accreditation of the Society of Authors and Music Publishers (SEAM) as the collective rights management society in the field of reprography. In other words, SEAM is a society for the collection and distribution of rights, which manage the rights of reprographic reproduction of musical works (photocopying) for authors, composers and publishers of printed music.

Arrêté du 26 août 2011 portant renouvellement de l’agrément de la Société des éditeurs et auteurs de musique

Le ministre de la culture et de la communication, Vu le code de la propriété intellectuelle (partie législative), et notamment ses articles L. 122-10 à L. 122-12 ; Vu le code de la propriété intellectuelle (partie réglementaire), et notamment ses articles R. 322-1 à

R. 322-2 ; Vu l’arrêté du 14 août 2006 portant agrément de la Société des éditeurs et auteurs de musique,

Arrête :

Art. 1er. − L’agrément de la Société des éditeurs et auteurs de musique (SEAM) en qualité de société de perception et de répartition des droits de reproduction par reprographie est renouvelé.

Art. 2. − Le secrétaire général est chargé de l’exécution du présent arrêté, qui sera publié au Journal officiel de la République française.
