This consolidated version of the the Marketing Control Act takes into account amendments up to Act No. 65 of June 19, 2015, which came into force October 1, 2015.
For the amendments introduced by the said Act No. 65, see Chapter 9, Sections 48, 48a and 49.
Chapter 6 of the consolidated Act protects different types of intellectual property rights of traders, including trademarks, designs, geographical indications, trade secrets, etc.
Chapter 7 provides for penalties and civil sanctions against infringement of these intellectual property rights.
