Details Details Year of Version 2014 Dates Amended up to: January 1, 2014 Entry into force: May 14, 2005 Issued: May 10, 2005 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights) Notes his Cabinet Regulation concerns blank tape levy which is imposed on the sale of blank recording media and devices, such as USB drives and smartphones, which can be used to make personal copies of copyrighted content.
The Regulation states the amount of the levy, the procedures for its collection as well as the procedures by which the levy has to be proportionally distributed among authors, performers and phonogram and film producers.
