Details Details Year of Version 2000 Dates Adopted: November 6, 2000 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights) Notes The notification by New Zealand to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Amendment Order revoked the Copyright (Application to Other Countries) Order 1995. It also updated and replaced the list of entities in the Schedules, which are convention countries referred to in sections 204 and 232 of the Copyright Act 1994.'

Pursuant to sections 204 and 232 of the Copyright Act 1994, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Commerce and on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order 1 Title

(1) This order is the Copyright (Application to Other Countries) Amendment Order 2000.

(2) In this order, the Copyright (Application to Other Countries) Order 1995 is called “the principal order”.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

3 New Schedules 1 to 3 substituted

Substituted Schedules 1 to 3 of principal order, as set out in the Schedule of this order.

4 Revocation

Revoked the Copyright (Application to Other Countries) Amendment Order 1997.
