The notification by Swaziland to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Act provides for the registration and protection of inventions, utility models and industrial designs.
The Act provides for the registration and granting of letters patent for inventions. The duration of a patent is 20 years after the filing date of the patent.
The Act provides for the registration and protection of industrial designs. The duration of an industrial design is 5 years, renewable for further two consecutive 5-year extensions.'
