MINISTERIAL ORDER NO. 13 OF 1978 WITH RESPECT TO AMENDING THE REGULATIONS FOR IMPLEMENTING THE PATENTS, DESIGNS AND TRADE MARKS REGULATION OF 1955 AMENDED BY LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO.22 OF 1977

The Minister of Commerce and Agriculture

Upon reviewing the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks Regulations of 1955 amended by Amiri Decree No.22 of 1977,

and upon reviewing Ministerial Order No. 2 of 1978 with respect to the regulations for implementing the Patents, Designs and Trader Marks Regulations of 1955 amended by Legislative Decree No.22 of 1977,

hereby orders:

Article 1

Appendix No.3 annexed to Ministerial Order No.2 of 1978 with respect to the Regulations for implementing the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks Regulation of 1955, shall be replaced by the following appendix regarding the categories of service marks:

1.

Services of publicity, advertising and professional business

(Class 35)

2.

Insurance and banking services

(Class 36)

3.

Contracting and maintenance services

(Class 37)

4.

Telecommunications services

(Class 38)

5.

Transport, communications and storage services

(Class 39)

6.

Industrial services

(Class 40)

7.

Education and entertainment services

(Class 41)

8.

Any other services which are not included in the types of the foregoing services

(Class 42)

Article 2

The Assistant Undersecretary for Commercial Affairs, Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture shall implement this Order which shall come into effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
