The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to refer to the deposit by the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand, on June 2, 1995, of a declaration extending the effects of its accession to the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886, as revised at Paris on July 24, 1971 ("Paris Act (1971)") and amended on September 28, 1979, to Articles 1 to 21 and the Appendix, and a notification declaring that the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand avails itself of the faculty provided for in Article II of the Appendix to the said Convention.
The Director General of WIPO has the honor to notify that the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand deposited, on July 8, 2004, a notification renewing the declaration relating to Article II of the Appendix for a period of ten years with effect from October 10, 2004, in accordance with Article I, paragraph 2(a) of the Appendix to the Paris Act.
