Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure

Communication of the Czech Republic Relating to the "Czech Collection of Microorganisms (CCM)" (formerly the "Czechoslovak Collection of Microorganisms (CCM)")

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on June 25, 1993, of a written communication, dated June 23, 1993, from the Government of the Czech Republic, informing the Director General of WIPO that the new name of the Czechoslovak Collection of Microorganisms (CCM), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patient Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, as amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notification No. 107 of July 8, 1992), is the "Czech Collection of Microorganisms (CCM)," and stating that the assurances furnished by the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic in respect of the Czechoslovak Collection of Microorganisms will continue to apply to the Czech Collection of Microorganisms. The address of the said international depositary authority remains unchanged.
