Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure

Notification of the Russian Federation Relating to a Change of Name and Address of, and Communicating a New Schedule of Fees Charged by the Russian Collection of Microorganisms (VKM) (formerly the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBFM-VKM))

The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on August 4, 1994, and on August 15, 1994, of written notifications, dated July 29, 1994, and August 12, 1994, respectively, from the Government of the Russian Federation informing the Director General of WIPO of the new name and address and notifying the new schedule of fees charged by the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBFM-VKM), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, as amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notifications Nos. 63 and 108 of July 28, 1987, and September 15, 1992, respectively).

The new name and address of the said international depositary authority are:

The new schedule of fees charged by the said international depositary authority is attached.

The list of the kinds of microorganisms accepted for deposit by the above-mentioned international depositary authority remains unchanged.

The new schedule of fees set forth in the said notification will apply as from the thirtieth day following the date (September 30, 1994) of the publication of the said fees in the September 1994 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle, that is as from October 30, 1994 (see Rule 12.2(a) and (c) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty). The said fees will replace the fees as published in the July/August 1987 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle (see Budapest Notification No. 63 of July 28, 1987).

Pursuant to Rule 12.2 of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, the new schedule of fees charged by the Russian Collection of Microorganisms (VKM), is as follows:
