The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on March 21 and on April 7, 1995, of the notifications of the Government of the United States of America, dated, respectively, March 10 and March 28, 1995, regarding a new schedule of fees and the kinds of microorganisms and material accepted by the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, as amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notification No. 11 of December 3, 1980). The texts of those notifications are attached.
The fees set forth in the said notifications will apply as from the thirtieth day following the date (May 31, 1995) of the publication of the said fees in the May 1995 issue of Industrial Property and Copyright/La Propriété industrielle et le Droit d'auteur, that is, as from June 30, 1995, (see Rule 12.2(c) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty). The said fees will replace the fees as published in the February 1992 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle (see Budapest Notification No. 102 of January 22, 1992).
