The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify the receipt, on September 23, 2013, of a written communication dated September 18, 2013, from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, informing him that the list of kinds of microorganisms accepted for deposit by the National Collections of Industrial, Food and Marine Bacteria (NCIMB), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, and amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notification No. 24 of February 2, 1982), has been extended to include plant cell tissue cultures.
The amount of fees charged for the storage of plant cell tissue cultures is as follows:

The fees are payable to NCIMB Ltd and are subject to VAT, at the current rate, were applicable.
