The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on December 18, 1989, of a written notification, dated December 14, 1989, from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, concerning the National Collection of Yeast Cultures (NCYC), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, as amended on September 26, 1980. That authority has been the subject of Budapest Notifications Nos. 23, 60 and 70. In the said notification, dated December 14, 1989, the text of which is attached, the said Government informs that there is a change in the fees charged by the said international depositary authority and confirms its name and address.
The fees set forth in the said notification, dated December 14, 1989, will apply as from the thirtieth day following the date (January 31, 1990) of the publication of the said fees in the January 1990 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle, that is, as from March 2, 1990 (see Rule 12.2(c) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty). The said fees will replace the fees as published in the June 1988 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle (see Budapest Notification No. 70 of May 16, 1988).

NOTIFICATION
I have the honour to refer to the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, opened for signature at Budapest from 28 April to 31 December 1977, and to the communication dated 31 January 1982 from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland nominating the National Collection of Yeast Cultures (NCYC) as an International Depositary Authority.
In accordance with Rule 12.2 of the Regulations under the Treaty, the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland hereby notify you that the fees charged by the National Collection of Yeast Cultures (NCYC) will be as follows, from the earliest date, in regard to the items indicated:
