The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments and has the honor to notify the deposit by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, on June 1, 2022, of its instrument of accession to the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled, adopted at Marrakesh on June 27, 2013.
The instrument contained the following declaration:
- "The declaration of the Republic of Azerbaijan contains unsubstantiated and baseless allegations against the Republic of Armenia and distorts the essence of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which was triggered and sustained by the use of force by Azerbaijan against peaceful demands of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh (Republic of Artsakh) for human rights and self-determination".
The said Treaty will enter into force, with respect to the Republic of Armenia, on September 1, 2022.
