The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to refer to the deposit by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, on September 18, 1979, of its instrument of ratification of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883, as revised at Stockholm on July 14, 1967 ("Stockholm Act (1967)"), and as amended on September 28, 1979, which deposit was accompanied by a declaration that its ratification did not apply to Articles 1 to 12 of the Stockholm Act (1967) (see Paris Notification No. 95).
The Director General of WIPO has the honor to notify that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia deposited, on June 5, 1997, its instrument of ratification of Articles 1 to 12 of the Stockholm Act (1967). These Articles will enter into force, with respect to the Republic of Indonesia, on September 5, 1997.
