Reservations made upon ratification:
1. "In accordance with Article 10, paragraph 3 and Article 42 of the Convention, Canada reserves the right not to impose criminal liability under paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 10 since effective remedies, such as civil remedies, are available under Canadian law."
2. "In accordance with Article 22, paragraph 2 and Article 42 of the Convention, Canada reserves the right not to exert its jurisdiction in relation to its nationals who commit offences established in accordance with the Convention outside its territorial jurisdiction."

1. "In accordance with Articles 2 and 40 of the Convention, Canada will require that the offence be committed with dishonest intent."
